Default Face cream

Sorry to be a pain, but someone on here mentioned last week a face cream from Mercandona which was supposed to be very good.. I can't find the thread it was on but if anyone can remember posting about a cheap but really good face cream from mercadona then can you give me another reminder as I am off back to Britain next week and would like to take some home. Thanks Jan xx

I don't know the name but one recommended by a lot of people is a facecream which has something to do with snails ... I know, horrid thought, snail slime on your face UGH ... I didn't try it as I swear by Nivea, used it all my life and won't use any other facecream. Mercadonna sell it and I was offered to try a sample but declined.

Yes, that one was talked about but it is a body cream not a face cream, I do not remember a face cream being mentioned but I probably missed it so ignore me.

I think the olive oil body cream is one of those which was withdrawn, anyway

doris - the Mercadona own brand Deliphy range of face creams is good & inexpensive, too

I've used them ever since we came here & wouldn't go back to the expensve stuff I used to use in the UK

Thanks Lynnxa... I believe that's the one that was mentioned... I just hope it's not over 100ml or I'm going to have to send myself some through the post... I didn't bring hold luggage this time,

It might have been me when we were talking about wasting money on cosmetics? I use Mercadona factor 30 moisturiser which is less than 5€ and has a nice light non-oily texture.

If you are going back to the UK M&S now do a nice range. Their aloe vera body cream is only £1 as is the bath foam.

It's cheaper still squeezed straight from the plant in the garden.

unfortunately the closest M&S to us has now closed down... and Dick... I wouldn't know how to grow Aloe Vera.. maybe when we come to live in Spain you can give me some gardening tips... so Mercadona it is then.

Never tried it, but I believe the stuff, or ingredient, is called baba de caracol. It's supposed to erase scars, freckles, clean windows (only kidding), etc. Something to do with enzymes...
