Yes but what made it exciting?
Not an anywhere near level playing field as far as cars are concerned! Safety cars and pit stops made it exciting (and its always exciting when a brits in front) No safety cars = procession How far do cars usually win by? 20 seconds, 30 seconds? Not exactly exciting. But because I cant stand it I don't ever watch it, just too boring and as far as I can see pointless. Hitting a ball from one end to the other. Now motor sports, for me are a different thing. I see what you are saying about a level playing field but thats why the FIA introduce new rules every year, to try and level that playing field, and it is working. It must be because people as useless as Sato have got points on the board. The race was exciting because Alonso didn't give up, there was a decent crash in which no-one got seriously injured and even with 4 safety cars there was a competitive race going on. I guess it all comes down to what you like to watch as sport, and for me even a slightly dull GP is a GP. |

Ahhh....found you!! I thought you were on about your Hayfever comment for a second which left me baffled. So another week, another sparring match. :sneaky: It's a long season - and typical of youngsters doing it for the first time, they tend to peak just a bit too soon :p We'll see come 20.30h. |

We shall see, Alonso will not be happy about this situation, it will only make him more pissed, and when he gets pissed he makes mistakes, cant wait for the first corner move!!

Re: F1 thread.
They seem like chalk and cheese to me ..... Hamilton is calm and confident, Alonso on a short fuse .... is he putting pressure on himself?

As long as the race is on any of the roads that lead out of Fuengirola, I would be pretty hard to beat :p |
