Re: F1 thread.
Looks like it could be another Rainy GP this time at Montreal this weekend, so this should add some excitement to the race. ~Early indicators show heavy rain !
|
Hamilton Lucky Again......
.....ha ha, BUT maybe not this time.........
................ 0.6 secs at 200mph is in the order of 50 metres. Truly astonishing margin unless he's only got vapours left in the tank. |
Re: F1 thread.
according to autosport.com they have resurfaced the track at the hairpin...dont know about the other areas that were breaking up...although it does say they will redo the whole track for next year.
possibility of rain - 60% |
Re: F1 thread.

Re: F1 thread.
So what are our predictions for Silverstone. I hope Hamilton wins or thereabouts just to make the championship more interesting .... dont want to see another Ferrari runaway

So do you reckon Ferrari will do it again? |
Re: F1 thread.
I will get down on my knees tonight and pray that the rain pours down on the ferraris and turns them into expensive rust heaps, stranded on the starting grid. After all, isn't Ferrari something to do with Fiat, and my experience of Fiat is exactly that - a rust heap! I like my sportsmen to have good looks and a personality, and Raikonnen has neither. Naughty boys like Alonso are a particular favourite of mine. He's not a bad driver either!
Unfortunately for Lewis, I shall be urging him on. I have a knack of bringing down bad luck on any sportsman that I support. I became interested in F1 AFTER Damon Hill became World Champion, and with those dark good looks, who else could I support? Maybe I should get behind Ferrari after all......................! (Should I point out at this juncture that this is Mrs bil posting, and not bil's 'secret' side coming out!) |
