On a related note.

Has anyone been experiencing delays with CurrencyFair?
They changed their clearing bank a couple of weeks ago - since then, things have slowed up considerably.
Hope it gets resolved soon becaused it used to be an excellent service.

I have put some money in for a pending exchange (probably why £ down lol) . That was to the new account and it went through as quickly as usual. However it has been a while since I actually transferred to Spanish account so no comment re that. As you say I have in the past found their service excellent.

Also, although I am aware that the market is at its lowest here now, I am still thinking investment here is a good idea due to it being due to (slowly) pick up and due tot he fact it certainly can't get any worse and prices are at their lowest. However, does anyone regret buying or building here and advise against it for whatever reason?
Watch out for the idea of an Autopromotor loan. It doesn't always work out. If there happens to be a crash in the middle of your building, the bank can pull out and leave you high and dry. We were expecting to get one but everything went wrong at the same time.
Having said that we havge never regretted our move for one day and we do live almost on the breadline in order to finish the build. The breadline isn't so bad when a lot of your neighbours are poor country folk!
