Nearly two weeks now. Half the country is flooded. All you people hoping to move to "sunny Spain" - think again!

We did quite well here today - it only started raining a few minutes ago and has been dry and sunny until then! The countryside round about doesn't look like your picture, probably because there aren't enough flat bits!
It is all getting a bit much though, I don't mind if it rains every night if only the days were dry. The weather forecast at the moment shows sunny for Sunday and Monday for Malaga, hope they are right. I am going to be in Sevilla for a few days next week and was not looking forward to it much if the weather stays wet, not much fun tramping about in the rain.

We haven't had heavy rain here on the Costa Blanca in the last couple of weeks - certainly no flooding.

raining for almost 3 weeks now, have had a day respite today, temp up to 20 on the verandah, but outside its only about 12
driving into the big city last week the main road was awash to about 6 inches as it came out of the olive groves
understand Loja had snow yesterday on the A92 which bypasses the town at high level and a couple of lorries fell over with their legs in the air.
Forecast...............
Rain

but its supposed to be good for the olives

Been quite pleasant here as well - 20's and a few drops of rain here and there, but pleasant. Right now it's about 18 and perfectly still. Been sitting out on the terrace reading a bit...

Yes, I am fed up of it too.
Campo houses just aren't designed for wet weather living!

It's been raining here for the best part of a month!
The land is completely waterlogged and down by the river...which is running high, it's now following the course it carved out during the flood at the end of September.
I'm just hoping the weather is not going to follow the same pattern as in the winters of 2009 and 2010.

We were given 2 puppies the week before this rain started it's been a nightmare trying to train them and am sick of clearing puppy poo off the covered terrace.
On Monday, the Rio Grande was close to flooding and running very fast at the bottom of the track. After last nights torrential rain I imagine it may now be impassable which will be annoying as the vet is due out this afternoon to vaccinate cats and pups.
On the plus side its rather like a summer in UK.
