Re: Esperanza Aguirre resigns
Funny that the biggest news about Spain isnt covered by the online versions of Mail, Express, Telegraph as of this morning. Even BBC World News online hadnt mentioned it. So it really hits the front pages doesnt it (not). Although it did hit the Buenos Aires News yesterday afternoon, but not part of my normal reading material.
.
.
It was on the front page of every newspaper in Spain

Spain and its politicians are not major players in the greater scheme of world affairs and unlikely to be so in the forseeable future, so barring a massive tsunami or civil war, what do you expect Cman ?

Re: Esperanza Aguirre resigns
I saw it on the front page of IDEAL this morning when having a coffee after my (UK funded) visit to the doctors for fresh prescriptions (UK funded).
Couldnt read it as someone else was already doing that.
Actually saw it all yesterday on LA1 news, which enabled me to make a comment then.
I am nowhere near Madrid so has no direct bearing on my (UK funded) life here in Spain.
