Could anyone please let me know if electrical plugs from Australia fit Spains outlet.
I know when I moved from the UK many years ago the British plugs were no use in Oz.
Many thanks Jeepers.

Thanks for photo that was a nice quick reply - thank you.
One more brain teaser for you - Does this mean that my electrical equipment is no good - or is it just a matter of changing the plugs on everything.
Like my music system. From jeepers in NZ

We went to OZ for three months earlier this year taking with us Laptops, phone chargers etc. All worked well with an adaptor and all worked perfectly well on return to Spain.
The OZ plug has two flat pins set at an angle. Adaptors are available at airports etc to change from UK three pin and from Spanish two pin

Sorry, just realised you want to go from Oz plugs to Spanish. In that case you may need a universal adaptor that is suitable for several countries. I have one that separates into four different pieces for various countries

If you are moving to Spain, then by far the simplest option is to change the plugs, if it's for a holiday, then you should be able to get an adaptor in either a hardware store or at the airport to let you use Oz plugs in other countries. You would be better off doing that there than trying to find one in Spain as all the ones I saw were to convert UK plugs to fir Spanish sockets.

have a good search of the forum regarding bringing a car from the UK to Spain
I know you drive on the same side as the UK so the problems will be much the same I imagine - although possibly more so because you're coming from outside Europe too

I was under the impression it is very hard to matriculate a non EU spec car, something to look into, would have though very expensive to transport over and the may not be able to matriculate.
Wouldnt have thought worth it, barely worth bringing a car from UK let alone OZ
