I have just had a nose around on the site.
You have to open an account and the winnings are paid into that, if its big they open a bank account for you.
You have a choice of tickets at 20 euros a share.
There is an SLL pukka site confirmation on the page and it has been running for years.

If you dont have a go it will be " oh what if " for the rest of your life
Many thanks for that info JDR, have saved the site, and will almost certainly be having a go. It also looks a useful site for the euromillones lottery. Its not fair, for the very first time I got both stars.. but NO NUMBERS!!!!

20€ shares.
Having looked at this site (above ) I see that they are selling tickets at DOUBLE the price , ie., El Gordo, 40 euros,...Saturday lottery, 12 euros, and Thursday, 6 euros, PLUS they charge 10 euros "handling fee " for each transaction, so they are really making a lot of money from web sales Also, the pictures of the tickets have a number on , but no price ! ! :scared:

The going rate for a ticket share around our area is €22 - €23. with the odd 2 or 3 euros going to the original buyers. (church association, local football team, youth club, old folks home etc). €40 a share is taking the P.

You sure you meant the site linked from JDRs post, I've been to it, they sell tickets at FACE VALUE but do add on a 15% service charge. I suspect you might have been referring to one of the other sites mentioned which was said to be a scam, but posting in the way you have indicates you are saying that the OFFICIAL el Gordo web site is a scam. I agree that the tickets do not have a price on in the pictures, but that could well be a security thing.

Yes, the link given by JDR leads to elGordo.com., this is the site charging 40 euros etc., :scared: the link given by Hillybilly is the official site , but they only give the location/address of the shops selling particular numbers ,giving the phone number as well (so I have just found out ), the tickets on this official site show the price on the picture of the said ticket along with all the other details...Now I have given this subject more thought I realise that the official site can`t sell tickets as they are already printed and sent out to sellers !.The only thing I now need to know is ...What are the shops called, these that sell tickets.....can`t see it mentioned on the site, as I want to write off to..Enguera and try and get my "special number " ticket, (thats just ONE place that sells "my" number )

If you look at my thumbnails, I actually went through the process of buying a ticket.

First pic is the security check.
Second is the ticket numbers, and 20 € cost.
Third is cost with a 3 € charge + 20 € ticket = 23€.

I know I had a good night last night, but my eyesight is not that blurred, or is it ?
