Can you please advise me as to the good/bad aspects of the El Campello area?

I have visited the area quite a few times and can only give my opinion. I think it is a nice area, lovely beach and lots of shops and bars but not as commercial as some coastal towns. Within easy travelling distance to Alicante and also Benidorm. People I have spoken to who live there say they really like the area. I like the area.
