Mother flies home after five weeks here!!! She is in a wheelchair but when she went back last year Easyjet nearly forgot her.
I have heard that you can get a boarding pass to go through with passengers in a wheelchair. Anyone know how I go about getting one??

We just asked when we were booking mum in, they give you a sticker but you must have ID with you. Both my husband & I took mum to the boarding gate, then the staff took over. That was at Alicante Airport a few years ago.
Unfortunately mum is now 94 & has short term memory loss which is getting worse, so she can't come any more, which we feel very sad about.
Good luck

Sue if you address your request to Andy Harrison who is the CEO at Easyjet

If you address your first e-mail to his PA Julie Wilmot she will deal with matters her direct e-mail address is julie.wilmot at easyjet.com
you are dealing at the top here sue so keep it brief and I am sure mother will be dispatched as required. good luck

Sounds like it differs at different airports. I was allowed through security pushing my Mum in a wheelchair at Sevilla airport, no special ticket for me, but the police checking passports would not let me pass through as I wasn't a passenger. Police passport check in Sevilla is at the entrance to the departure gate itself so it was very close anyway and the airline staff took over for the last few metres to the aircraft. It was a nail biting few hours letting a 95 yr old on the plane by herself, waiting to hear that she had arrived and been collected at Heathrow.

Checking in a young teenager 1 mth ago at Alicante, I was asked if I wanted a pass to accompany him into departures. ( I didnt) But shows they still have that system. Get a pass from the security with your passport after checking in your Mum. You can then go all the way to the flight gate.

Surinenglish are running a story on it now, it is on page 15, but i can`t find a link on line.
Aena have taken on extra staff and there are ten meeting places at Malaga airport where they will be escorted though check in etc.
You can fill an order form in on www.aena.es or phone 902404704 and tell them your requirements, it says at least 48 hours notice.
