Default driving licence

if a lad of 17 passes his driving test in england ,when can he drive in spain . I have been told that he must be 18

As he holds a Euro licence and he is driving in Europe I cant see why not, apart from getting the car insured for him in Spain.

thats what i thought, does anyone have a definative answer on this cos i am a bit confused and my son is very despondent about this

Cost me 200€ excess when my son in law or my daughter drove and they were 29

200€ excess when ur kids wanted to drive ?? BARGIN!!!! thats only like.. 140 quid ish for insurance! mine was 650 tpft in the uk ! (on a 1969 standard beetle!)
