Doctors- Now why does this seem familiar?

Re: Doctors- Now why does this seem familiar?
So the job situation isn't that bad after all - so long as you have the relevant skills. Must be very hard for parents of kids nowadays. Choose the right career path (doctor, pharmacist, dentist) and they'll be alright. Choose almost everything else and you're in the smelly brown stuff as regards regular employment (especially in boom and bust times). We can't all be doctors... can we?

Jobs I wouldn't want to be in right now: anything to do with the retail banking sector and estate agents. I feel genuinely sorry for workers in the retail banks. The (highly paid) people at the top screw up, but it'll be the (low-paid) staff in the branches that will suffer when costs need to be cut.
But, seriously, there are plenty of 'safe' jobs in a recession, ironic that many choose to leave these jobs (e.g. education) because it's not so glamorous in times of boom...

At the bottom of the page where this message appeared there was an appropriate ad about teachers- see if it's still there - made me laugh. Supports the view anyone can just be a teacher as you say
P.S. only kidding former teachers
P.P.S. B....r its gone, something now about the American Green Card - well I suppose that's a laugh as well bearing in mind how difficult it will soon be to get in the USA
