Do u want Channel 4
#1
Not sure if anyone has had the same problem as me and they have lost their channel 4 but I managed to find the new frequencyand it works perfectly better than having to wait an extra hour for channel 4 + 1,
Any way here is the frequency 12480 and the polarisation is V if your not sure how to set it up see below.
Press the SERVICES button on yr remote then select option 4 SYSTEM SETUP
Select option 4 ADD CHANNELS
Using the keypad on your remote control - type in 12480 in Polarisation box make sure V is selected
Scroll down to FIND CHANNELS
Select TT on 4 then STORE button on yr keypad
Then Select again on yr keypad
To find it, as it will not store in yr normal programme guide you will have to press Services, Other Channels then select the TT on 4 and it will come on.
Good Luck hope it doesnt go off like the other channel 4 one has
If its worked for you please post so other people know its a genuine Frequency

it does work - at the moment - it is only a left over c4 test signal (and has had some sound issues in the last few weeks..) and i dare say that in the next few weeks it will go
c4 are on the process of changing all of their frequencies...film 4 changed on monday (available for the same times as c4) and it looks like c4+1 will be changing in the near future from their astra 2b frequency to astra 2d (same times availability as e4)......
the sticky in my forum will keep you updated with extra "sky" channels....
this is all down to freesat and c4's commitment to freesat - which does go against all those that said that freesat and the channels it would offer would be available on a small 80cm dish...this proves quite the reverse...

you make sure the polarization is V (it can only be V or H!)
you make sure the symbol rate is 27.5(it can only be 27.5 or 22.0!)
you make sure the FEC is 2/3

i think you need atleast a 1.35m dish to get it...and it is best to try to do this later at night or in the morning....whenever you get the sky programme guide music is a good time as they are both on similar frequencies...

no, all you are doing is asking the receiver to scan one frequency and storing that channel in "other channels". all you channels currently in the EPG (sky guide) will not be lost.

Using remote control press services
then 4. select then add channels. select, will bring up a screen with freq at the top change frequency using the number pad to
10729 ignore decimal point
using the blue up down arrow buttons ensure the following are set to
V ensure this is on V using the left/right blue arrow button
22 using the right/;eft blue arrow button
5/6 using the right/left blue arrow button
find channels using up/down blue arrow btton
then press select,
a list of channels will come up, select the channels you want to store in memory, ( I would select them all using the yellow button to select which should put a tick by the channels selected).
Once you have done that press select to continue. Then press back up until you are watching a programme channel.
Should when you press find channels the No satellie signal being received comes up, try again, or try again at a different time of the day,
To watch channel 4 press services, then 6 (9 if if you have Sky+)
using blue buttons go to 8350 and Ch4 should come up
Select Channel 8350 to add to other channels by using the yellow button

C4+1 (sky channel 135) encryption has been turned off on 5 of the 6 regional variations (Ireland is the one with encyrption) on its current frequency,
some new test frequencies have appeared on a channel4 transponder on 2d...
it looks like in the near future you will only get C4+1 if you can currently receive E4....

Update:
"secret" channel for Channel 4 - 8350 - as per solarwhizz's instructions - is no longer available and has been removed from 10729.
With the changes C4 are making it looks like 10729 will be used for c4+1, e4, e4+1 and more4.
So it looks like C4 and C4+1 will only be available on a big dish....so much for those who said that Freesat would mean smaller dishes....
but you can still get C4 by
services 4,4
you type in 12480 in the frequency
you make sure the polarization is V (it can only be V or H!)
you make sure the symbol rate is 27.5(it can only be 27.5 or 22.0!)
you make sure the FEC is 2/3
find channels
store channel TTon4
but this TTon4 wil not last forever....

as mentioned a few days ago, C4+1 has completed its migration form one satellite to another - it is now on astra 2d - the weak signal satellite - and should be available for the same times as e4.
the cheat for TTon4 is still available (AT THE MOMENT!!)
