In Spain you must drive in the middle of the road on country lanes, this helps you to swerve left or right much easier. Also you must drive with fag in hand, arm out of window, getting the breeze. Stop anywhere and only double park, never use a space.
On motorways you must see how close you can get to the car on front, without actually touching it. On roads where there are works taking place you must drive at least double the advised limits then slam on your brakes to go over the rumble strips! Apparently.

The UK highway code states in Rule 185 that make your intentions Clear before entering a Roundabout. Failing to do so whilst on your driving test will be a nice big tick against your pass as it is conceived as a major failure in regards to road safety. The only time you don't indicate prior to entering a roundabout is if you are passing straight across it, Then you only indicate on exiting. Take a 3 oclock position exit or 9 oclock position exit requires signaling in advance and when on dual carriage way roundabouts you indicate even earlier to place yourself in the correct entry lane. A fussy Policeman can issue a ticket for driving without due care an attention should he feel it fitting to the occasion.

186
Signals and position.
When taking the first exit to the left, unless signs or markings indicate otherwise
signal left and approach in the left-hand lane
keep to the left on the roundabout and continue signalling left to leave
When taking an exit to the right or going full circle, unless signs or markings indicate otherwise
signal right and approach in the right-hand lane
keep to the right on the roundabout until you need to change lanes to exit the roundabout
signal left after you have passed the exit before the one you want
When taking any intermediate exit, unless signs or markings indicate otherwise
select the appropriate lane on approach to the roundabout
you should not normally need to signal on approach
stay in this lane until you need to alter course to exit the roundabout
signal left after you have passed the exit before the one you want
When there are more than three lanes at the entrance to a roundabout, use the most appropriate lane on approach and through it.

Love see one of these here. lol
I lived in Colchester when they first layed one of these out with lorry tyres and changed the positions every day till they got it right, so funny watching the drivers.

Funny....They come under Section 190 treat each one separately at rush hour it will take 2 hours to get to your closest offside exit and will have burnt out two sets of bulbs trying to get across

You can go round the main roundabout the wrong way and sometimes cut a lot of traffic out.

Now if you see one of our visitors from North Africa driving ( Renault 19 perhaps ) with an arm right out the window , that does not mean that person is going anywhere . The large bogey has been rolled and is being deposited on the Spanish highway . The nose gets a right going over when the dust is a blowing .
