Oh the reason the Russians killed so many people was the fact the gas they used was BZ which was developed by the KGB in Secret and somehow the Chechens got hold of it and really didn`t know how to use it in such a large area, which resulted in deaths.

Please source the subject as there is a foriegn Office notice to campers holidaying in Europe to fit alarms to there caravans,Tents and motorhomes, there have been several hundred people robbed using gas to knock them out, you just need to google the stories and info.

All gas is lethal. The line between putting someone to sleep and putting someone to death is very fine, which is why you hope you have a well paid qualified expert metering your dose of anasthetic when you go for an operation or you die. Expecting to be able to meter an accurate dose to all of the occupants of a house in the volume of said house with operating theatre accuracy, avoiding ALL the complications (i.e. death) with no intervention is, frankly stupid!

But the real question is this... WHY? Most of these stories talk of hardened criminals and Eastern European ex-military using gas as their weapon of choice to enable them to break into homes, but let's look at this in the cold harsh reality that is the world around us.

When I lived and worked in Middlesbrough, North East England, teenage children used to break into houses and steal TVs and Videos (before the time of DVDs) *whilst people were still watching them*.

Compare and contrast this to press reports that some of the most dangerous men on the planet are alledged to be using military grade chemical weapons to subdue the occupants of properties - those occupants usually consisting of nothing more 'scarey' to an ex-special forces than a 64 year old male with mild angina and an 8 year old Yorkshire Terrier called Truffles.

Clearly, these hardened criminal gangs are so scared of meeting a real-life English Yorkshire Terrier in the flesh, that they have to invest time and money carrying around large quantities of gas!

So, if you're still scared by all of this - forget hiring ex-forces people to protect you - on this evidence alone I'd personally recommend hiring a crack gang of ex-comprehensive school children to protect you and your property. You know it makes sense!

And they went so quickly, I`m shocked by there lack of stamina, but its kinda fun how they arrive in a pack, maybe I should change views, i think the zoo would benifit more if i feed Hyena`s.:rofl:
