Just thinking about it makes me thirsty!
Thanks

Me too,I am with you in spirit(maybe a beer first though!)

But I think some people think that George Orwells 1984 was an election leaflet and would have voted it in if they had a chance.

Let me correct you. Aymerich must pay Martinsa. Not vice versa.

Yes originally the contract to operate the Fadesa "owned" golf courses was won by a different company Finsa? I think. However Fadesa were late as usual and I think they fell out before the courses were ready. So the retender was won by Aymerich who did very well for the courses at first but late last year they had their own credit crunch and they have now been recapitalised by two or three very rich Spanish individuals. As the old saying goes the rich don't hold on to their money by giving it away so I suppose they are now sweatting the investment under the Spanish sun so to speak.

True to their word after some intensive work last week the East Course has now reopened. The course has been tested informally in the evening by a few "casual golfers" with a couple of clubs and a bag of balls. However after cutting the eighth at nine this morning a new hole was placed and a flag left in position. The first paid for round followed soon after and a steady stream of players is now coming down the hill.

Good news!

That means I have entertainment from my apartment. I love watching the visitors walk off the back of the first green and then reappear going round the road towards your house.
