No he meant have they bought them as "holiday homes". I'm glibly avoiding old age as a "snow bird"

Question Re: COSTA ESURI - AYAMONTE

Have been down to Sussex for Easter parked in our motorhome alongside the Bluebell Steam Railway plenty of smoke and a dusting of snow magical.

Decided to come home this morning to avoid traffic. So they we were all packed up engine running and the mobile goes.

Guess who?

Well surprise surprise it was Fadesa to say they have connected our plot to Electricity. (we have had similar calls before) would we now complete?

I am guessing everything is closed in Ayamonte for Easter as it is here so cannot check with solicitors to see if they have the required paperwork.

Has anybody else had a phone call today?

As it was a national holiday this is no surprise. Today is only a holiday in a couple of provinces (Catalonia springs to mind) so there's no reason why you would not be contacted today.

I guess it is 18.30 in Ayamonte now and no sign of a call back from Fadesa.

Unfortunately RB, I would have to disagree with the list Marisol put up. I find that in Ayamonte itself there is a surprising LACK of what one would call quality restaurants - I mean something with some sort of wowo factor. In the list graciously provided, one has shut down and the another has changed hands, so not great as a guide, but a starting point nevertheless.

Huelva province-wise, you'd be better off starting from Isla Cristina or Islantilla, there's a couple of notable ones around Rompido and Aljaraque, but if it's real quality - and above all, variety, - youre after, then the closest you'll get it from Ayamonte is in Portugal, particularly the restaurants around Almancil and Quinta do Lago. A bit more expensive - but not prohibitively so, and more importantly, just the few euros extra results in a world of difference on your plate.

As for Luciano, first on that list, they'll see you coming at a thousand paces - biggest waste of money for very little return that you could hope to find

On R8 which is a cul de sac on Golf II. Our plot is more or less opposite John and Kaths with the golf course in between us both.

On our last visit in November 2 villas were already under construction I believe by a developer.

We could not get any answer from our Solicitor today.

Dave

Those 2 villas are externally complete and three more are well underway on the south side of the turning cicle diagonal from you.
