I mentioned on here that I was looking to cancel my contract with Fades due to the delays in getting electricity etc. I was wondering if anyone had any experience of cancellation ? If so I would very much like to have a discussion with you - Perhaps you could PM me. I am just about to get started on the process and would welcome any opinions/experiences etc

Thanks in anticipation

Speaking of shops can anyone help me with directions to the Ikea in portugal,
the one nearest to Faro airport or an address for the sat nav. is it called Alfragide? and how difficult is it to find from the airport? Any help would be appreciated.

Ikea Alfragide is in the north of Lisbon - near to Lisbon airport.[Enter alfragide portugal into google map.] There is another Ikea north of Oporto at Montecillio.
I guess that the Ikea at Seville is probably 3 hours closer to CE

Perhaps we should be inviting him down to Esuri to play a game of golf and bring his friends with him and if he thinks it is ok, he can go back home and tell more people.

What would be terrible would be if he got the impression we are an unfriendly bunch on Esuri and go back home and tell people that.

I for one have not found anyone on Esuri to be anything less that helpful and friendly and it would be a shame if that is not the impression given through this website. I am sure most of you will agree.

Does anybody know if the Spanish supermarkets sell an equivalent product to English Salad Cream? All we seem to find is mayonaisse.

Useful tip. Eroski's own tomatoe ketchup is highly concentrated full of flavour and modestly priced too.

We always use the one in Seville - approx 1hr 20 mins from CE. Straight to Seville and it pops up on the left hand side - you need to go off a slip road on the right as soon as you see it and go over the road. Closed on Sundays and some festival days so check before you make the journey - we were caught out like that!

Marisol,

perhaps it is time that Esurianians (our new National Title - anyone for a flag design please) got you playing golf.

Hi

When we were down last year we went to the huge new Carrefours at Cartaya and they have an English section for all the main brand names including Hnz Salad Cream. I could even get English pickled onions and Cdby Chocalate.

So its worth a trip to stock up. Think they are closed Sundays.

On another matter Golf. I am badly in need of lessons, can anybody suggest where I might go before I embarass myself at CE.

Another more important matter I suppose has anybody heard anything about the electricity to the PLOTS.....??

Thanks Yvonne Seville sounds a lot nearer, I think we try this one.
