Re: COSTA ESURI - AYAMONTE
To All Rogo 1 Owners,
In case you did not know, there is an up and coming meeting in Spain with ADA on 14th August and also a meeting in the UK on 3rd August for all Rago 1 owners who are interested in sorting out the ongoing maintenance of our community. We are currently trying to obtain the details of all concerned, plus a contribution towards any legal fees which are required. For those of you which have not sent your details to Yvonne [email protected], please send them ASAP, otherwise things may proceed without you knowing the situation!! Cheers John & Lynn |

as for fish and chips hope not, much prefer patatas bravas This meant to me that there should be a nice level of activity, in the centre , maybe some nice bars.restos as well - within walking distance - or a short drive. With no Eroski on the horizon, (as Fortaleza advised) my most important requirement is gone - sadly. I really wanted to walk down to the s/market and get provisions + be able to do stuff on the doorstep, as well as go into A-monte / Portugal. However we're in it for the long term, so will wait ands see what transpires - for us personally its still great fun being there - even in an uncompleted development. Lets see what happens... but I remain cautiously optimistic in the long term Jon |

Actually when I heard that BK were going to open (as well as Eroski) I was pleased... not exactly because I love BK - or even want it there, but because someone somewhere, big companies at that, had done the market research (better than I can do) and found it a viable concern.

Re: COSTA ESURI - AYAMONTE
Costa Esuri???? Is this a new Costa that the rest of Spain has not heard of??
It would seem that this 'urbanisation' is lead by the members of this thread and anarchy is rising???? I wish other members of different forums available on the Internet would pool their resources like you all do. I look forward to this thread bewaking the 5000 marker. |
Re: COSTA ESURI - AYAMONTE

From today's el pais article, do I understand correctly that the opposition party (PP) leader, Rajoy, wants the banks to reconsider their withdrawl of the promised loan to MF? What is the job title of Sra. Antonia Magdaleno Carmona? Carol |

Hi
Last week the ERG petrol station appeared open on the right hand side in the Huelva direction... It's still a mystery to me how to walk the route from the puente esuri, but we noticed a track running underneath the motorway (halfway along the industrial area.) Carol |

Did see several French plated caravans, too. The ERG petrol station (westbound, as the other side hasn't yet opened, I believe) was busy at the time.
Just remembered something: there are several warehouses open in the industrial area between the highway and the parador. Easy parking. Must dash, but just had another thought about prospects of "the shed". Any guesses? I'll check in later. Hasta luego. |

Good to hear this, Jon. You can get papers & bread from the ERG. (I know it's not the same as sitting al fresco in a plaza with a coffee.)

Many thanks for this quick reply, Fortaleza. Karma for your trouble. Can't say I understand all of it, but I agree the book recommended is a good reference and easy to read.

What is the job title of Sra. Antonia Magdaleno Carmona? Carol Huelva City - PP since '95 and likely to remain so Huelva Province - in general elections (we have a form of PR) we send 2 PSOE to 1 PP to the Madrid Congress Ayamonte - PSOE for God knows how long, but faced protest vote last yeear against previous alcalde resulting in hung council, but which in the end PSOE managed to gain control of through a pact Haven't read the El Pais article, but Rajoy will be doing all he can to gain political capital out of the mess. He is shouting at the moment about a possible conflict of interests regarding someone appointed to mediate in the issue, but I haven't read all the details. Tomorrow, if he's clever, he'll find yet another way to blame the government. (my own feeling is that after the Fernando Martin was shafted by Solbes and co, they are probably working together to bring as much of the she hit on the bumbling socialists) Magdaleno is a lawyer from Valencia and has been named the Adminstrator of the mess that is MF. Two other administrators are yet to be named |

Yes, and I think Marks and Spencer, El Corte Ingles, Bloomingdales and Harrods may be reassessing their plans to move in also. Though I have have heard of a unit being taken up by a company specialising in huge white elephants, but seeing as they're in financial difficulties at the moment, it could be a while before they open. :p
