Hi,

Jag is the name of the owner, really nice friendly guy. He was brought up on curries, not sure if he uses his mother's or Pam his wife recipes.

I have no family or buisness connection to this bar, but it is good.

Also to Jonbxl,
nice to meet up with you last week.

Brilliant lamb curry last Tuesday night Korma, Tika and Jalfrazi. Its in the street of the nightclubs runs parallel to the marina about 50m from the market hall Ayamonte.

p.s. I have no commercial interest in Jag's bar and I take no responsibility for my bad directions.

The music a little further down the street on Saturday evening was good too.
Did you get the right wind (perhaps I should rephrase that) did you sail round and stay over in the marina or come down on the Harley?

Where does a community stand in regards to its management company and their biggest contractor touting for proxy votes to community meetings.

With the shed allegedly closing this week, I doubt Conforta will continue

As for the marina, it was the main yacht marina of Ayamonte, I thought the only one. Marina sits in an old inlet off the side of the river, looks as though it was the old fishing port.
Old fishing port still there about 300m downstream same side called Barrio Canela lots of small fishers in there, big boats pull alongside just above the ferry teminal about 300 upstream same side. All the really industial stuff goes into Isla Cristina and there is a repeat of this layout at Punta Morel

Nice to lighten the mood with your pics, Jon (and John's & jdr's)
I don't think this is "Saint Carmen, the virgin". However, it is a statue of the Virgin Mary, or "La Virgen Immaculada", also known as "Estrella del Mar", or "La Virgen del Carmen".

Is not Conforta, its Comfortservi, they provide cleaners, gardeners etc. to ADA communities, they also have an Estate Agency in Rago 1. They are all a "Big Family".

Who's getting picky, you or I? I stand corrected, though. St. Carmen and the Virgin Mary are one and the same.
Re: link. I've tested it. It works fine.
