Has anyone got any pictures of RVA4 Manzana 4? We have been offered to swap our deposits from a town house on RVA1 Manzana3 as we did not like the large wall in the back garden. It would really help us decide on what area would be best for us if we could see any pictures of Manzana 4 or any information on the pool area. Thanks Tasha

If what JDR suggests doesn't work. It could be that you've logged yourself off somehow and you need to log on again. Does your name appear at the top of the page with 'Welcome, MikeJ'. If not - that's what's happened.

Warning to all.

I've just checked my easyjet flight details from a booking made last July. Discovered that the departure flight only has been moved forward leaving 3 hours earlier. Don't assume your times are as originally booked. On the plus side I was looking to see if I could swap to an earlier departure. Looks like I got my wish free of charge. Hope others don't arrive late and miss the plane and loose their fare. I have had no email, or phone call to advise this and you can't find a reliable number to ring them on. Can anybody suggest one for Luton?

With reference to the second golf course, we walked the full 18 holes round the buggy path at the beginning of January, the course looks very close to completion with most of the tees already being in better condition that those on the first course when it opened.

The course looks like a real test of golf, in the words of most stroke savers, "A long straight drive will be well rewarded". There are some challenging approaches across streams or onto raised greens.

Chris (pro at CE) said that the latest estimate from the green keepers was that it would open in April, therefore he said that June is probably realistic. Making sure it was absolutely ready was their priority.

Here are a couple of pics, hope you like them and hope to meet you on the first tee sometime. If I have the layout right, its the first tee, about the 6th Green and the tee shot from the 14th White tees.

Mark

Hi Mark, cheers for the reply on Golf 2,

Thanks for the update and for the pics, glad to know it is coming on well. We are out late Feb so no chance of playing it then, but back out in June so fingers crossed!!

We overlook this course from our balcony and each time I am there the want to play it more. I will post some more pics when we get back.

I know this question has been asked previously on the last thread but I'm having trouble finding it. What car hire firms in Faro allow their cars into Spain without hitting you with increased insurance please? Just been quoted additional €30 for a three day hire. Going over next Wednesday and really looking forward to seeing how Esuri is progressing.

I have spent many a happy hour browsing other threads on the forum - I guess I could be classed as a 'silent member of the family' (perhaps you're not used to that) I've never felt qualified to add comments in such exalted company. In CE I feel I'm with like minded folk

I've tried applying your advice - didn't work - was already set as recommended - so I guess it's probably my new firewall

Andy,

Try www.economycarhire.com - they are a consolidator and will show prices from various low cost car renters, eg Air Auto, who don't charge for crossing the border and also offer extra drivers free - check the details. Watch out for damage excess insurance (most, if not all, renters don't cover damage to tyres, underside and possibly locks) - if you are going to go out three or more times a year I recommend that you take out an annual policy that you can get for approx £49.

Regards

Andy, to answer your question, we always use www.economycarhire.com/car-hire-portugal/
and have nothing but great service, no additional charges, and a comparison of several different hire companies offering fantastic deals (with no cross border charges). I have also taken additional annual insurance with http://www.insurance4carhire.com/ (as suggested by someone else on the forum, to cover the bits not in the standard contract)

Well, I am feeling very chilled out this evening, after a couple of bottles of Valpollacelli, and a few Amorettos. Its my 5?th Birthday today, and we have just had a great night out with the eldest daughter, and her partner. Tomorrow, we fly to CE for a week, so would be delighted to meet anyone who is out at the same time, on the many occasions we expect to be in the bar at the Golf Club. Looking forward to a few games of golf, including the Esuri Pro next Wednesday. Does life get any better than this ?

Thank God for the Spell Checker !

I am not too techy, but it could possibly be the problem, can you see them elsewhere ?
Can you go into the settings and maybe have to tick a box similar to the one on here.
If not post a question in the LAB, tell them the problem maybe the new firewall and I am sure they will sort it for you.
