Any updates on whats happening witht the new airport?

Which opeartors are going in to it, when its due to open?

Sorry never heard of it, but airports are usually selling points by agents. ;-))
There is also going to be a rail link along the coast to Estapona, Marbella etc, so far they have put a new bridge in at Fuengirola, so don`t hold your breath.

Yeh, the website is not an official one so wouldn't take that as gospel that it's going to happen. Maybe someone needs to go have a look and see if they can see that rock that has been laid!

The terminal is under construction as is the control tower, my husband took some aerial photos recently but it does look as though nothing much has happened in the last few weeks

I'm sure we read recently in the paper that all work on this airport has been suspended for the time being due to the economic downturn.
