I received a very brief text message from Sally this morning.
Sadly, Her Mum-in-Law passed away on thursday night and the funeral was being held this afternoon.
I hope to be speaking to Sally tomorrow or Monday

I've been following Sally and MIL's experiences and I thought they were both really strong ladies in their own way. It's so sad MIL has passed away but as Crispy said, at least MIL's dream did come true, if only for a while.

This is such sad news. My sincerest condolences to Sally and her husband. Her MIL was determined to move to Spain with them despite her illness and she at least had her wish. I hope she was happy during the brief time she was in Spain. My heart goes out to them

My heartfelt condolences to the family. They have had to overcome so much in such a short space of time. Although there are no words that can help them with their pain at this moment in time they will take comfort in knowing that they made her dream come true and made her comfortable. It took a great deal of courage from all three of them to continue with their plans when MIL illness was discovered, their determination was admirable as it would have been so much easier to not move over to Spain. Instead they decided to ensure that the illness did not stop them from following a dream and therefore MIL had a new and exciting experience instead of focussing and worrying about her illness. What a wonderful family.
