Default Community Charges

Hi Everyone,
My wife and I live in a Park Home in Malaga.
The Land owner as recently increased the Community Charge the first one in four years,it comes under the heading of the Consumer Price Index, the increase is not large
Residents discussing this rise are not refusing to pay this increase, but are withholding it when it is due till they see if it legal to do so.
My question is what happens if a payment of this kind is withheld in Spain, can this be done without legal advice.
Many Thanks

I would guess that you have to read your contract, wherein it will tell you when and how he is allowed to do that.
If the increase is small and its the first in 4 years then it doesn't seem unreasonable but of course thats easy for me to say!

I think any rental agreement should give you notice of charges rising.
I would assume the same amount of time you have paid in advance, in case you want to opt out and leave.
