Hi everyone,
Is it still cheaper to buy cigarettes in Gib than it is in Spain?
If so anyone know the price difference and is it worth driving from Malaga to get them would you think?
Not for me but for my husband!
thank you

Oh that's interesting Jiminato...
I didn't realise there was such a low allowance. Not worth the bother then obviously.
Thanks

Marlboro in Morissons are £22/carton
Petrol in Morissons was £1.059 last time I filled up there
Great savings to be had on brown sauce and tea over Spain
..not to mention a far better selection than any of the Spanish supermarkets.
Do not cross the border in the morning and definitely not between 11 and 1 which is when most of the planes are coming in and out. Don't visit on a Wednesday as there is a market in La Linea which causes more border traffic.
Best time to go in is 1.30 on a Thursday or Friday and get out of there before 4 when the rush to leave the rock starts.

We used to go in to shop at Morrison's and Ramson's on a Sunday - in by 11, out by 1 - no queues at all most of the time.
Monday definitely isn't worth it - Morrison's shelves are all empty.
