That sounds lovely. I guess they treat it like motherﾃつｴs day because of the implications of the mother of Jesus getting pregnant.

As Lyn has said it is in May. When we moved here we misunderstood the Dec celebration and thought that it was their Motherﾃつｴs Day celebration so decided that I should celebrate the English one in March/April and the Spanish one in Dec then discovered that it is actually in May so last year I had three motherﾃつｴs days, not greedy at all.
