Cheap calls to the Uk
I am having to make a lot of calls (daytime) from Spain to the UK as a result of family health problems. Landline to landline in most cases.
Currently I am using 902055058 as a reasonably cheap no registration required system.
Is there anything better now? I read somewhere that Skype is under pressure from some new companies like Movizelia?

I use Voipbuster. Cheaper than Skype.
Usually 1c per min to the UK but 18c to mobile.
What strikes me as a bit odd is that calling Oz is cheaper than calling the UK?

I use Internet Calls, 10 euros gives a 120 days of free calls and it then takes ages to use up the 10 euros when the free calls have expired.

Re: Cheap calls to the Uk
I use 2 systems
a) skype, which gives me free landline-landline for £4.85/month on their Europe package giving me free landline to any EU country as well as video when talking to the grandchildren
b) voipfone.co.uk which holds my uk phone number so my non-tech sister and daughter can phone me by calling as a local call for them. Generally calls from me are 1p/min - and all for £2.20 per month
once I get moved out of this rental all my phones are going onto voip with wifi around the house
should have done this years ago and saved paying BT £14+ per month
its the way to go until the internet gets bogged down with people trying to pull television thru

Re: Cheap calls to the Uk
I use this via my computer http://www.internetcalls.com/ but I have linked it to my normal landline, so a speak on that. I put €10 of credit on (€12.50 with vat) and that lasts for weeks. It costs only 5c connection charge (because I've got it linked to my landline phone) then the call is free to many countries including the UK. The link to the different countries rates is in that orange box on their homepage. I have just looked and at the moment it shows superdeal that USA is free to landlines and mobiles! There is a fair user policy, so read terms and conditions but you get a lot of call minutes per week. SMS messages can also be sent via this site, think they are free.
I have used them for years and you can pay by paypal as well as card, which I like. Please note, it's not €10 every month. I have used my €10 for weeks now and I still have credit left. It takes a long time to use your credit.
