Cats to Spain - injections

Cats to Spain - injections
How long before they travel do cats need their injections, rabies etc, I thought I read a thread that it was 7 months but cannot find it now. Its just we will be moving later in year but not sure when, and little girl and me would be heartbroken if she couldn,t come with us.
