Hello, can anybody help and advise us please, we want to register our UK caravan in Spain. We are having it delivered by a transport company onto a site in the Murcia region, has anybody successfully registered their UK caravan for road use in Spain. We do know that as it is under 6 years old it does not need the (ITV) test.

Or if it can't be registered can we just get caravan insurance for theft/damage while it is on the site.

If it's RHD (right hand drive) then I would firstly check if you are able to register it at all as RHD commerical vehicles can not be.

You will need to contact the manufacturer and obtain a C.O.C document (Certificate of comformity) then the ITV station has to compare that with the actual 'vehicle' and make a report.

Then you submit all the paperwork, fees and import duty (if applicable) for the registration process.

Or pay a Gestor to do it all for you.
