Judging by the programs which show Spain, the houses look rather similar in general, its just a shame about the area and its problems. I think most people would agree looking elsewhere is a more advised.

Yes, you'll find the same type of houses all over Spain and there is currently so much available. I know some people get offended when we talk about this specific urbanisation, but that's life. At the end of the day this programme exists and Spain is flooded with properties, so people who bought there have to live with that. I don't know how much those houses are selling for, but you can build a brand new house very cheap these days and the location of the urbanisation is not really great, so the land value will be very low (if we're honest). With or without the TV programme, most people will view and decide for themselves.
