I don't want to offend anyone but what's wrong with camposol. I have just watched an episode of a place in the sun and the woman was shown a beautiful place which included a car but her reaction was oh no not camposol and the presenter said ok we will show you something more up market. Is it the rough council estate of the costas as it has some lovely properties for sale. I don't understand!

Unfortunately not and many don't even use a lawyer. Maybe Brits feel safe and think they don't need a lawyer if they buy in a typical British area, or in a place where Brits are already living.

You just can't believe some people would be that stupid with such a big investment. It's like buying a second hand car and not taking it for a test drive.

Not at all, just saying I would especially carry out a survey on a property I intended to buy in Camposol…

I have never been there, I have only seen the internet links "homes from hell" etc so I would never abuse the area. I apologise if you think that.

I have never been there either but just judging solely by watching the programme referred to in this thread the houses featured looked gorgeous

Dondurma, I think its located fairly inland in Murrcia which makes it reasonably priced by default in Spain. I should like to think that the horendus problems with flooding & subsistencs are now a thing of the past. its very hot inland in te summer and cold in the winter so better off being as near to the coast as possible.
