What - boycott new developments because they're destroying the environment?

Why is Fuzzle even interested, he left the area, that's his perogative, but to come back slagging the area off every time he feels like it is a bit too much. The building now going on has been planned for years, and the land all laid out for it apart from the area near the beach between Playa Flamenca and Punta Prima. It was expats from many countries who demonstrated against the development, but it was the Spanish who voted the politicians in , and ignored the parties that would have stopped it, BUT the government of the area is in Orihuela, and they pay little attention to the voices on the Costa.

Right, I have just watched it and I have to say the points made are all valid and nothing that people haven't already said on here.
Is the issue that Fuzzle is planning to move on?
Is it because none of you can separate a direct criticism of an ecological and economic time bomb with personal criticism?
Are you all so unsettled with the fact that you have contributed towards the problem that you feel the only way to deal with it is to try and shoot the messenger.
We all know what is going on yet cant accept that we are part of the problem, maybe some soul searching needs to go on eh?

I was also concerned about the water issue but, at the time, there was a plan to divert water from the Ebro so I felt reassured by that.

I still live in Playa Flamenca since august last year in one of those blue apartments, its not that bad here its just very cheap and tacky. Must be alot of drugs about because I've been searched by police so many times now.
