Our BMI flight for Sept was cancelled and they did refund the full cost of the 4 flights booked however to re-book with another airline has incurred extra cost. I wrote to BMI and asked them to pay the difference between the cancelled BMI flight and the new booking and they have sent me a chq for the difference. If anybody is in the same position please write, as I did, and make sure you send your BMI booking details and a print off confirmation of the new flights booked along with EC 261/2004 article 8 that you can google and print a copy of.
