actually come to think of it, one of our bathrooms has a bidet & bath & the other a shower no bidet

When I was a plumber the only regulations I came across was how to supply the water to them, so that the guy cleaning his teeth in the bathroom below didn`t get a surprise mouthwash .

Why not simply get one to fit onto your loo?

They work really well, are dirt cheap (under a tenner on ebay), dead easy to fit, and once you start using one you wonder how you could ever have manged all these years without one.

From now on I wouldn't fit a loo without one.

Yes, but have you subsequently applied for a cedula? It may be that a) you don't have one or b) it was obtained before the rules changed.
