Default bbc and itv

we were just wondering if anyone else is having problems with bbc, itv and sky3 today? all the other channels are fine, but we haven't had any of the above all day today?

Ours are still there, but the reception is not as good, sound cracking and pic sticking occasionaly in the evenings.
This usually means stormy weather on the way.

Yeah, if it happens we usually try one of the other districts, one of them is more or less ok.

lol no wet leaf but... we have lost even more channels now, including e4 (omg i am missing hollyoaks omnibus, or minibus like i used to call it before i learnt to speak english properly) and i also missed coleens real women. You can all guess mr FB is rather pleased about all this

so... what can i do...! grrr!

ME AGAIN....
seems to have gone cranky again, whether its sunny or rainy, it keeps happening...so here is the question:
could it be the sky box?
i heard someone mention once, not sure if here or where, that if its not connected through the telephone line this can happen?

just spotted this thread here....

loosing channels is down to a few things

dish needs realigning
cable connectioned need to be checkedwater in the cable - bad cable
LNB needs replacing
box is going (noticed many older grundigs failing recently)
bad weather / heavy cloud / rain

nothing to do with whether the phone line is connected or not - this does not affect the reception of free tv channels on a sky box

get an installer out and have it checked out - it may have been blown out of alignment with the winds we have had - i am still getting calls from people who did not know about the storms as they have been in the UK!
