Please be careful with expatshield.

I installed it and as soon as I used the search tool my AV trapped a trojan.
Just in case this was a false positive I closed it and started it again. This time trapping a virus sig.

Closed the expatshield windows and went to open a google search window but this was redirected to another site which again gave a virus alarm.

Now uninstalled it and am back to normal.

Will stick to "my private network" vpn as it is only £5 and work well.

Sorry people are having problems. I repeat, I have no interest or share in the product.

The company has nothing to gain by installing viruses and Trojans, since they are an established company who make money from their ads. Did campolife install it from the right Web site?

My virus control has never picked up anything. And the computer that has it installed works just as well as it ever did. (As far as speed goes, I have more problems with the variable Telitec signal, and Iberdrola's business-day and daytime maintenance—do no Spanish engineers work unsocial hours, like the rest of Europe?—than with any installed program.)

I installed it as well and found a couple of virus' coming through. It also locked a couple of major apps. (virus?).

Anyway, I uninstalled pdq.

I'm sure it's generally fine but just a couple of us will note issues.

I sent it to my brother in Sweden, and he said he had very similar problems to you, so uninstalled, and now everything back to normal.
