I don't know of anything regarding second hand automatic cars in that specific area, but every once in a while there are a few bargains on ebay UK site. So if you go to www.ebay.co.uk and enter a search for "lhd Spain" you might find what you're looking for.
Best of luck,

I have seen very few automatics here, The Spanish seem to favour manual gearboxes. Recently, I visited a large dealer near to Valencia Airport, who had fifty or sixty cars for sale, not one was automatic. Your best bet may be looking through the Costa Blanca News at some of the dealer adverts.
In my opinion, second hand cars are overpriced here, although some will argue!

Would totally agree auto's in short supply and overpriced, looked at some of the dealer websites from ads inCBNews not many autos there, was thinking of buying lhd auto from UK and importing, but I understand this can be exspensive, dont know if anyone has experience of similar situation?

It was important to have a "declaraccion de bajo", from the British consulate in Alicante, that was less than 30 days old!!!!!!( altenative was another 800€ in import taxes). we have had the car now for four years and it has been an absolute gem!!,, The total cost on importation was about 2000€ less than an equivalent manual car here (inclusive of all fees)
There are some better deals from Belgium, usually advertised on Ebay,
The search I use is " left hand drive, LHD", this seems to capture a lot of cars in the listings.

Certainly seems a good option, was the insurance any higher for an imported car?

LHD automatics in Moraira offers solely automatics., usually mid range cars like focus's , mondeo, clio etc. Cheaper than a car dealer, but only 3-4 to choose from

We ordered a new automatic Megane here 5 years ago. The dealer just could not understand why anyone would want to buy an automatic. He said in Spain they really enjoy changing the gears! Once it arrived he had no idea how it worked!

A *very* small number! Unless it is a very recent small diesel (1.4 litre) or something with a lawnmower engine it is unlikely to have less than 120gm CO2 emissions!
Many larger petrol engined cars will pay 14.75% rather than the old 12% maximum rate.

I'm interested in how much it will cost to bring a car in. Looking at 330 d bm coupes in germany and they are silly money.
Will look into it.
