Hi guys,

I have to admit, on wednesday night I. Didn't catch a wink of sleep having worried myself to death after reading the forum!

I can however say the Peter did call me first thing in Thursday morning after my email to him expressing my concerns.

I have to say Peter has been great, Peter send me some details of some of his old customers who I did in fact call, these were not made up customers as he sent them over very quickly and they hadn't a clue who I was or why I was calling but they put my mind at ease.

Peter then gave me a number for the eastern European driver who goes by the name Luca who happened to be in the UK when I called him, he too didn't gave a clue who I was or why I was calling, everything seemed to stack up and Luca told me he has been moving cars for Peter for over 12 months and has not known of any issues.

If I am wrong I am wrong and it will be my loss! In fact the guy that I have bought my van from in Malaga also used Petes business in June to bring the can to Spain from the UK, he had no issues, in fact he was over the moon.

I am more than happy to put my business his way. He seems proper to me.

Cheers

Dave

He seemed proper to me as well, but he ripped me off. If you still have possession of your vehicle you may wish to ask to see Luca's driving licence and insurance docs before handing over the keys. Also ask whose truck it going on. Peter Green is an expert in telling the customer what they want to hear as oppose to the truth. He has no trucks! He buys spaces on real companies vehicles last minute at a very reduced rate. If he can't he makes up some bullshit until he can. Read the thread on carstospain, it explains more fully his modus operandi. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but you can not trust this man, you will regret it. I do.

This was one of Peter Greens other scam transport companies. My view after reading it is that he has evidently been ripping people off for years. I wonder what he will call his next company? How you honestly try to defend someone like him is unbelievable. If he has nothing to hide then why does he?:frown:

Thanks guys, I suppose now we just have to sit and wait to see what exactly happens. My van is expected Tuesday (ish) of next week, you are right Peter does not have any trucks himself and purely uses this guy called Luca. Dont get me wrong I was very worried at the start and am still a tad. I will obviously keep you all posted on how and when it arrived here safely!

what makes you think Peter is in hiding, as Doggy can confirm I had popped around his house the other day when he called and why would he continue living in Nueva Andalucia if he has so many people trying to track him down knowing the address of his old apartment which is about 200 m away

Why should people jump up and take notice when people like the rip off report you quote only carry the same story as a previous poster on this thread with an Audi R8 who has not returned since making his complaint known to as many people as he could find. I am intrigued to discover exactly how a scratch under the rear spoiler became €10 000 worth of damage. Why should they believe you, who joins a forum with the sole attention of venting your anger against him. You say that you were ripped off but rather than highlighting your own experience and how you were "ripped off" you quote inaccurate information of his current set up and relationship with the company Luca works for. So desperate to cast bad light you imagine everyone should become an amateur tax inspector and try make a case against him for non payment of tax when the Inland revenue have no interest in Peter. Perhaps we should refer to the 2006 thread which contained a post from a business associate that Peter fell out with and a ripped off customer who, if I am correct, was actually a victim of the same business partner who had actually been sub contracted to move the car in the first place.

Another person so desperate that he/she thought it important to mention he believed he met his Russian wife in a club like this is important information when considering car transport.

And how can I stand up for him ?...well, he's never done me wrong. I've never been a customer of his but I have sent him a couple of hundred customers and none have come back to me with any problems after using his service. I am quite amazed that people imagined Peter was in hiding in 2006 when he had an office in Puerto Banus above Barclays with a 20 ft advertising hoarding above it advertising his business.....not exactly low profile

Too logical Jacky.

is it embarrassment that they feel they have been scammed, yes it can be seen as "suspicious" to come onto a forum such as BE and slag someone off and never be heard of again.
I can understand that, the anger never goes away just the desire to kill everyone in sight wanes a little. When you feel you cannot get your own back bad mouthing is all that is left. It happens all day, every day on Facebook.

Having recently experienced a problem over what I thought was an over officious ITV inspector I signed on to at least 2 specialist car forums to ask questions, having found out that he was right  I doubt I will ever have a need of those sites again.

My daughter wanted her Car shipped out to her in Spain - I got plenty of quotes, some for up to £1200. Peter got in touch and quoted a much more reasonable price which I accepted.

They collected the car off my drive on Tuesday and it was delivered 12 days later in Spain. Any tosh about Peter being a rip-off is just that - utter rubbish.

My experience is that he does what he says - delivers the goods at a great price.

Anyone who wants to ask me personally about my experience can email me with their number and I will txt them my number so they can call me.

I must be totally honest. As you can see from the beginning I was very worried as there were alot of people slagging Peter off. I have to say, my van turned up 4 days after leaving Spain, I wouldn't have an issue using him again!
