Default Apartment in Quesada Help

Hi
I have just purchased a holiday apartment in Quesada between Murcia and Alicante. The problem is I need to purchase a double bed and single bed with Mattress and wanted to get advice on the best place to purchase at a good price and also get delivery etc.

Any advice on home furniture most welcome

Mike

From Quesada you have two options :-

1) Jump onto the AP7 heading north in Alicante direction but pull off at a town called Almoradi - its small enough not to get lost in - but is well known in the area as a furniture town. Loads of large showrooms/shops catering for all aspects of home furnishings along the main road through the town.

2) Head over to Torrevieja where you'll also easily find several large showroom/shops, again catering for all aspects of home furnishings. Head for the "needle" monument and follow this road along to thend and you'll pass several large furniture & ligting stores like Hnos. Garcia.

Most shops deliver as long as you can provide a full address (sounds mad but not all streets in new developments have names) and should be free or a small cost.

Happy shopping and enjoy Quesada - its a nice place, had many nice meals and beers there over the years.

I Would have thought that a third option of Ikea in Murcia was one worth not discounting? They deliver also, see; http://www.ikea.com/es/es/store/murcia

Good advice from goonerseba.

I purchased one bed from from Hons Garcia and another from Procomobel near the junction between N332 and CV895.

If you are on a tight budget you may also consider:
Muebels 43 tel 680884155 on Carrer de los Arcos opposite the post office in Cuidad Quesada & there is a shop selling second hand furniture on the main square oposite the museum in Rojales.

You can buy almost everything in Cortes Ingles in Elche, but they are not cheap. They do have less expensive homewares in their house discount store.

For really cheap homewares, you might want to visit Todo Todo on Ave de las cortes valencianas in Torrevieja

Unless they have re-opened the Todo Todo shut down ages ago, it became as Eriski and that has now gone as well.

Loads of bed shops around Torrevieja area and they will all deliver, just check out the local papers.
