The weather is fantastic in Javea , it does not get really cold until late January.
You will find that most of the buildings here are built so that it is lovely and cool in the summer months , but that means they also get cold and damp in the winter months, a lot of places now have underfloor heating .
(We do not have this luxury)
We really only use it to keep the damp out of the bed , and we also put the air con on hot for half an hour before going to bed, but if you are fairly young you probably will not notice the damp air.
We just like to keep the cold at bay, as we are getting on in years.
If you already have one then it is a must !
Today is about 17 degrees an lovely an sunny.
Regards

Yorkshire linen and UK supplies, located in many regions of Spain have them.
Also try Eroski, Carrefour, Leroy Merlin

Here in the UK we are preparing for bad weather overnight. Lived in Javea for a little while in 2013 and now looking forward to coming back and now with the electrical blanket. I do not know how to direct you but if you go past the Deutsche Bank towards the old Town then the supermarket on your right hand side then where Europa telecomms used to be there is a large electrical outlet a bit further up and against past Iceland there is parking outside the shop

Hola

There is a real luxury item available on Amazon, an Electric Duvet !!! A real godsend for houses like mine that are built to be cool in the summer months.

I have had mine now for two winters and it keeps me warm throughout the night.

I'd second that. We have had one for two years - I only wish they were available years ago - fantastic!

I have had my electric duvet for several years now and could not think of a winter without it.

So just how are they built to keep it lovely and cool ?
Yes it may be lovely in the sun, but not in the shade or in the early hours when a blanket is needed.
