The other place is Take it Outside forum - they wind up in there a lot as well - can be hilarious

Just keep popping your head in every now and then but make sure you take a tin hat with you, somewhere Ray has a list of rules for posting in there it makes for a good read.

Im feeling brave being on here never mind in The Lounge!! Now Ive dipped my toe in the water I hope to try again soon. xx Everyone is friendly and welcoming so Im sure there wont be a problem. Feel a bit of a fraud not living in Spain though.

Hey dont feel like that - im not even going to Spain but i love it on the Spanish forum - after a bad day at work i only have to come on here and ive usually laughed loads and so feel so much better - saves a fortune on therapy

We were looking into going to Australia about 2 years ago and a friend told me about this site - we used to sit at school in the Food Tech room reading everything we could on the Ozzie forum (its very addictive on here so be warned ) - was knocked back by immigration agents so thought about moving to Spain - started looking on here and became hooked - i love the people on here they have me in stitches and yes i am an addict - there ive said it - i feel much better now .
Anyway still going to Oz on a student visa in Jan 2010 but will still come on the Spanish forum as the people on here are very special, very special indeed if you know what i mean .
What are your plans?

Crispy and the one back from the pub make me laugh.

We thought of Oz about 4 years ago but we were 1 point short. We are now too old. Me and OH always thought of retiring to Spain when kids leave home but in this day and age I could be dead and buried by then! My Dad is Spanish and comes from northern Spain and although I love it there I would prefer somewhere a little less rainy so looking at somewhere more southern. I dont know what it is but we`ve just got an urge not to wait until retirement but my stumbling block is my kids - aged 9 and almost 12 and going to school. I speak spanish (rusty but would be fluent again within weeks) but hubby and kids dont. xx
