Ibuprofen and asprin are both drugs that can cause stomach bleeds if taken too often or in susceptible people. The dangers of co codamol mixed with other drugs is when people take it along with paracetamol, not realising that co codamol contains paracetamol, then you can get problems with accidental paracetamol overdosage. Mixing co codamol and ibuprofen should cause no problems at all.
Any drug that ends .. amol will contain paracetamol, despite it's name not suggesting it, so it is dangerous to mix two of those together.

Don't worry, my OH was prescribed 600g Ibuprofen and told he could take paracetamol too if needed. This was at the CDS hospital. They did say to take the paracetamol 2 hours after the Ibuprofen.

No not at all, but I try not to take it too often as I read it is not good for your heart.
Its usually about 500ml paracetemol & 8 - 10 ml codeine

You can buy 600mg Ibuprofeno over the counter, I used to take as did Mitzy 1200mg on and off daily from May through to about november for a not fully diagnosed hamstring I supossedly have, one of the main purposes of my visits to spain was to bring some of these home, It never affected my stomach, but in the end I was worried my self about the amount I was taking for this pain and eventually saw a Chemist here who eventually put me off long term use saying that forced me to see a doctor in the end who eventually put me on Arcoxia which is a tiny tablet what does much better. Saying all that ive been on these for 4 months now and still no further with my leg.

All jokes aside, I do again admire another part of how the Spanish dont abuse pharmaceuticals like they dont alcohol and drugs as in the UK, I like the fact you can bulk buy some Tablets and even purchase anti inflammatory drugs in Spain, unlike here where you cant buy 2 packets of Anadin just in case your off to top yourself later that day.
