Anyone in Huelva?
#1
Hello there. I've been living in a small town near Huelva in South-West Spain since March. I like to believe I'm well integrated here and because of where I'm living I haven't met any other British expats; not to say there aren't any, of course
It would be nice to know what other residents think of the area, their experiences and what they're doing. My teaching contract comes to an end next month and so the job searching is already in full swing. If anyone hears of anything please get in touch.
Thanks,
Arko

I've been to Ayamonte a number of times and really like the feel of the town. I'm in Aljaraque, which isn't the prettiest place in the world but is a good starting point for exploring the rest of the province. And Portugal's so close...

Aljaraque isnt a bad place you have no need to go to ayamonte, you have better places on your doorstep

Wasn't saying Aljaraque was a bad place, just that it's not attractive. Fantastic if you want to eat- it has more bars per sq metre than any other place in Huelva. And the prices are reasonable.
