Fully agree, and there are always the 'reduced to clear' which I never saw in Spain, we are actually spending less on food here than we were in Spain. OK some things are dearer, but to offset that we get free public transport, got the passes in just one week from arriving, so we are going out 2 or 3 times a week, and if we want it all it costs is a coffee and cream cake while we are out.
