The annual swim across the Guadiana.
This event is today starting approx. 2.30 pm from VRSA to Ayamonte.

Yes amazing in such dangerous currents, massive amount of stamina and strength required. Glad you went down for a look.

they will of course take the best time related to the tides
The start is scheduled for 14:30 hours which may be delayed depending on the state of the tide.

Yes I know that from having watched it the last 2 years and having read the brochure. They must have left pretty much on time and the conditions were declared safe for the crossing.
