Is anyone else being really bugged by the new flashing fluorescent ads that have appeared on BE?

So far today I have been the 10,000th visitor, 999,999th visitor and the millionth visitor to this website! And I have won shed loads of prizes!

Do they really have to be here?????

I get them all the time when logged on to BE at work, but never seen one on this PC. They are VERY annoying and you can´t seem to shut them off.

The link says it´s for blocking pop-ups. These ads aren´t pop-ups, they are just there at the top and and the side of the page. Do you not see any ads at all? even the non fluorescent ones?

Can anyone throw any light as to why we are getting different results?
