Many thanks to all of you
I ventured into the world of Amazon Spain last weekend - with the help of Google Translate!
Very impressed, free delivery promised within 2 days, but actually happened within 24 hours. They emailed to say attempted delivery midday Sunday (!!) but no answer. By the time I had translated the email, they had made a second attempt - my friend had been celebrating his move to Spain and had a few beers......and G&Ts.....and had just fallen into bed when the delivery guy knocked at the door - at 22.30 on a Sunday night!
I am super impressed, makes Amazon Australia look like a seriously poverty-stricken relation

I put instructions as to where they can park and that I don't speak much Spanish and they always talk to me in English (bad me I know)
You can also use the german site and the italian if the spanish one doesn't have what you want. Delivery may be a day or so longer though.
If you open Amazon.es in Googe chrome the page should ask if you want it translated (not sure if you have to add it as an extension).
See screen shot. The translate icon appears in my browser.

They are pretty good, I always get a phone call about 10mins before they deliver.

Not realising they would actually phone about delivery I had put my number not his. I know what to do next time! Over here it doesn't matter what number you put, wouldnt ring it. They deliver when they can be bothered and just throw it in the direction of the front door. Last week the woman three doors down the street said she'd found my parcel in the gutter outside her house

So after a few successes with Amazon - thanks so much everyone for your help with that - my Spanish is improving and I'm now looking for something along the lines of Snapfish, to use for sending cards. I know thats unusual in these days of email but I do like to send real cards whenever I can still. Since the start of COVID the mail from Australia to the UK and Europe has been so horrifically slow that I now make my own cards through Snapfish UK, rather than sending actual cards from here, but now I need cards for Spain!! I have done one via Snapfish UK, who list delivery to Spain as an option, but it took SIX WEEKS to arrive from the date they posted it, so pretty useless really!
Does anyone have any recommendations, please?

I used Amazon.es since Brexit made everything difficult. I could find no fault whatsoever with Amazon.es, i was totally happy with choice and delivery.
When my amazon.es account got hacked into about 6 weeks ago and a €50 gift certificate was purchased and spent using my details Amazon.es did absolutely nothing to help other that close my account because of suspicious activity.
There has been no investigation into the hacking or to the account where "my" €50 gift certificate went!!
So after years of purchasing goods from Amazon. UK and Amazon.es I now have no account with either and still €50 out of pocket. Keep a close eye on your Amazon accounts.

One item I bought in May this year failed just recently so Amazon directed me to the manufacturers website.
The item manufacturer simply failed to respond.
I went back to Amazon and they have agree to accept the goods back.
Amazon prime allows you to watch movies and is a load of tosh.
I watch the movies as they are in Spanish (with subtitles in English) quite often, but I can start several and watch them for a few minutes before I find one that is actually worth watching...
