Re. the above. Is this a good buy for use in Spain? Any comments would be appreciated.

You shouldn't have any problems using the "firestick" in Spain. I use the Android tv box with Kodi.

I've have the same. Well satisfied with it. Forgive my ignorance, but is there any benefit in having a fire stick as well? The kodi was driving me up the wall.

Take a look at the Roku stream stick too. You can get the Amazon prime app, Netflix, Sky and a literal ton of other apps, and you can control it via your iPhone/Android.

What was the problems you found with Kodi, TV or films? I use kodi for both in Spain without any problems. I also use nowtv for mainstream UK TV no issues although that requires VPN.

All to often I could not get past the kodi home screen, very frustrating. Also I found that unless you knew what you were looking specifically, it was a thankless task. I did speak to the supplier who played with it. No further forward. Now have the mag 254 box. More expensive but it works with an on screen schedule.

I suppose it really comes down to what you get used to.

Bit surprised that this discussion about how to illegally access films is allowed on here.

But with the Firestick you could legally access Amazon content, but I am guessing that's not what you want to do either.
