They have added a lot of products to the Spanish site which is why they now feel that the time has come to remove the free delivery option. When they first offered it about the only things you could buy on the Spanish site were books and CD/DVDs.
As I said earlier, postage is only €2.99 and an annual premium membership gives free, usually next day delivery on any sized order - even a €1 item. |

Kindles have always been a problem. Before they became available in Spain they could only be ordered in Spain through the US Amazon.com site. That may well still be the case with Kindles ordered from Gibraltar. Try ordering something basic. However I have again tried the UK and NOW they will deliver to Gib My post 10 in this thread

Re: Amazon
Ok. Perhaps it's because it's electrical? We have the same problems when trying to order computer parts - they simply won't ship to Spain no matter what.
It's a bit bad though that their help says they do ship, free to Gibralter yet in reality, they don't! |

It's a bit bad though that their help says they do ship, free to Gibralter yet in reality, they don't! You just have to be careful to check that they come from Amazon and not one of their third party suppliers who mainly do not ship to Spain or if they do they charge higher postage prices. |

No problem. I have had loads of electrical goods and computer bits from Amazon UK. Last week I had a lawn mower and some hedge trimmers.

Re: Amazon
It's very frustrating plowing through the catalogue to be stopped at the last fence.
Ebay is just as bad, a surprising number from the UK deliver to Europe and then lump Gib in with the likes of Nigeria, Somalia and Afghanistan etc. I suppose they all have Spanish directors :sneaky: |
Re: Amazon
Now France is going to try and stop Amazon giving discounts and free postage. Cant wait for them to do that here in Spain, not.
