Yes, that is true!
The prices are a bit high, but we have found that when we buy off the web, the postage costs are incredibly high, especially for books.
We also buy from the markets from time to time and also exchange with friends very regularly.
Now that you reminded me......Sue, on Wednesdays there is a Rastro type market in Calpe that also does second hand books. It is near the Mas Y Mas supermarket - Plaza Central.

See - I thought I was asking a silly queston but as usual got lots of advice and help. Bought new computer before we came out here. Really looking for a book how to murder commercial estate agent without being found out or how to rob him blind - either will do!!!

Plenty of booksellers on all car boot sales, some specific for books, thers just have a few. We have a NEW book shop in Torrevieja, on Calle Azorin, which has just opened, plenty of British books, and not too expensive, also papers and magazines, but they are expensive. They also have a good stock of Spanish and German books.
